ICA-AtoM makes a splash at the DLM Forum!
The ICA’s presentation of the AtoM software has met with enthusiastic interest at the 2008 DLM Forum in Toulouse (France). After only one day of conference proceedings the ICA’s representatives distributed over 100 demonstrational cds and talked to many archivists interested in exploring the functionalities of the software and its possible use in their institutions. Several participants expressed interest in becoming beta testers, including a university archives, a French regional archive, an international organization, a national archives, and a French water supplier.
Many DLM Forum participants were attracted by the fact that it is free, open source, and a collaborative effort that transcends national borders.
